The singer’s sophomore studio album, Kaleidoscope Dream under RCA records, debuted on the Billboard 200 at #3 in 2012. He rose to prominence with his songs Sure Thing (2010). Adorn (2012), and #Beautiful (2014) with Mariah Carey.
The singer earned his first Grammy nomination in 2010 for the track Finding My Way Back. At the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Miguel scored his first Grammy win for the song Adorn.
He’s also gained popularity in the world of cinema and has appeared in movies such as Live by Night (2016) and Detroit (2017). Miguel contributed to the soundtrack of the mega-hit Disney film Coco (2017) and voiced the character of “Dr. Arcannis” in the animated movie Fearless (2020).
