About Amaury Guichon

At 14, Amaury Guichon already knew that culinary arts was his life calling and enrolled in École Hôtelière Savoie. The young French-Swiss chef perfected his pastry-making skills by working at the Wolfisberg Bakery in Geneva. In 2010, Guichon earned the title of Best Apprentice in France, provided by the council of the MOF Association.
Being dedicated to showing his talents to the world, he entered the French reality cooking show, Who Will Be the Next Pasty Chef? He ranked third in the series, and that was just the beginning of it all.
Because of his amazing talent, Guichon continued working in Las Vegas and co-founded the Pastry Academy with Michel Ernots. In 2021, he became the star of the Netflix show School of Chocolate, where he mentors eight students competing for a career-changing grand prize.
