Mark McMorris had quite the legendary start in his snowboarding career. When he joined his first World Cup Slopestyle competition in 2010, the 16-year-old ended up being the ultimate champion. The following year, McMorris became the first snowboarder in history to land a backside triple cork 1440

In 2012, he became a double gold medalist when he won the Slopestyle and Big Air competitions at the Winter X Games in Aspen. It wasn’t long before this already decorated snowboarder would add an Olympic medal to his list of accomplishments. McMorris scored bronze for Slopestyle at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. 

He continued his winning streak at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, where he was awarded another bronze medal for slopestyle and finished in 10th place for Big Air.

At the 2020 X Games in Norway, McMorris scored a gold medal for Big Air  bringing this legendary snowboarder’s X medals to a staggering total of 20.
